With
the help of residents of this special village, we hope to bring
together some of Hovingham's past, present and hopes for the
future, by featuring local businesses, local events, the social
life of the village and a few of the wide-ranging hobbies and
interests of the residents |
|
The
villages and hamlets in this ancient Parish, historically extending
to Coulton, Scackleton, Airyholme, Baxtenhowe, Fryton, South
Holme and East Ness are all to be featured here. We hope that
some of the residents will come forward with their own ideas
of what they would like to see on our own Hovingham website |
Look out Scackleton! Swannie's Blog is now on the Scackleton
village page (Updated 4th August 2008).
There is also a featured page of old Scackleton photos, "Bygone
Scackleton"

The playground is closed until further notice, due to
fallen branches.
It is hoped that the playground will relocate
to a safer ground, very soon! |
